Jesus tells a paralyzed man his sin are forgive. The local righteous get, quietly, all up in arms so he asks them: ” … [what] is easier, to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Stand up and walk’? 6 But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”-he then said to the paralytic-“Stand up, take your bed and go to your home.” The results is that all the people glorify God. (Matthew 9:1-8)
There is a lot of talk about health care insurance reform. Some are strongly against it. Others are equally strongly for it. A lot of money is being spent trying to convince the other side to their way of thinking, and everyone is guilty of embarrassing degrees of misrepresentation. There is no glory here.
So, I wonder what health care, as a whole not just insurance, would look like if a fundamental value was for the glory of God to be revealed?
